As of the start of 2008, only a handful of other practices in the world have started more cases using Invisalign®. Many of these practices have more than one doctor, so in fact, few individuals have more experience with the product than Dr Goodman. Dr. Goodman is on the faculty of Invisalign® educational division, Aligntech Institute, and he lecture around the country on the topic of Invisalign®.

Invisalign® works; however, expertise with the appliance is critical in many situations. Some cases that seem minor are not suited for Invisalign®, and for other seemingly complex cases, Invisalign® is even more effective than traditional braces. This judgment is based on experience with the product. In addition, if your teeth are not responding, the practitioner needs to know how to react. These pathways are too detailed to mention here, but suffice it to say that Invisalign-based treatment is alien to many inexperienced Invisalign providers.
